Thanks for the speedy donation and many emails. Another 50 dollars has been added to our donations which helps to pay for the battery back-up which is now installed! Money is pretty tight this time of year and new child tax money is being looked upon as another big help this year. It is a major head-ache looking back at last year's taxes right now, but it must be done. Traffic to this site has been tremendous but for some reason it has not been reflected by our sponsors. In fact, January was still twice or three times bigger than a busy July. It is frustrating to say the least to try and understand the way Internet advertising is most effective. The scanner feed will be back on after a few adjustments to the way people log-in. This will only be a temporary measure to keep the feed active, a much larger overhaul to the entire site will take place over the next few months. Right now I am learning Flash MX, which is yet another web media building program. Expect this site to get a bit more "flashy" as time goes on. Hopefully the lightning hasn't zapped the sense out of me but at least my marks are high with a 90% and a 91% on the last two assignments!
